Some selections from the latest ASOS Africa S/S’12 Collection, produced in collaboration with SOKO Kenya.

Are you a fan of this initiative? Must admit, whoever is in charge of describing this collection could do with sticking away from using the phrase like ‘go wild’ simply because these designs incorporate prints of animals (something that is a little worthy of an eye roll). I don’t know much about SOKO Kenya but their initiative seems to be on the right track. That being said, if ‘ASOS Africa’ is patterned with an initiative based in one African country, it seems a little misleading to name the collaboration after the entire continent.
